FAQs

We hope you find everything you need to know on our website.

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions. If you can't find the answer to your question, then don't hesitate in emailing us on [email protected].

When will I get my calendars?

As a general guide, you should allow 2-3 weeks for us to produce your calendars. This is subject to stock, and more complex production titles require longer lead times. At the time of order, we will give you a date which will tell you the week in which your order will be dispatched.

Please note, the earlier you order, the more chance you have of obtaining the calendar title you require, as designs do sell out towards the end of the year.

For certain products, such as shipping calendars this process will take between 8-10 weeks.

We are usually able to deliver your calendars within 2-3 weeks from approval of artwork for printing. However, the time required prior to the sending of a proof, will vary. The amount of time to allow therefore for us to turn your order around, will depend on how much work is needed on your artwork in our design department, how long it takes to prepare a proof of your advert and the capacity in our production department. Subject to artwork being submitted and if additional proof stages are required.

When do I have to pay for my calendars?

You won't pay a penny until your calendars are dispatched. However, all accounts are subject to standard credit checks. We are happy to arrange delivery on a convenient date for you, if the order is received early enough in the year to facilitate this.

What happens when I order my calendars?

Once we have your signed order form, or your written order confirmation, we will create an order within our system. You will then receive an order acknowledgement e-mail from us, detailing everything about your order, so you can check it is correct. This should arrive with you in approximately 2-3 working days after the order is placed. Any errors on this order acknowledgement need to be notified straight away as production may start the same day. Where a proof has been requested, the next step will be for us to send you a proof of your advertisement for approval, before printing of your calendars commences.

When you receive this order confirmation, you will be advised of an estimated delivery date. This will be stated as ‘dispatched during week commencing xx’. You can expect to receive our order during this estimated week.

Will I receive a proof, and when will this be?

Please note, we will only send a proof if requested at the order stage. The artwork stage on an order can take up to 7-10 working days, but will be prepared and sent to you as soon as possible. At busier times of the year please bear with us as this process may take longer.

All proofs are sent as PDFs via email unless requested otherwise.

How much are your calendars? Why are there no prices on your website?

We have an extensive range of calendars and the prices vary depending on the quantity you order. Please contact us with the details of which calendars you are interested in, and we will be pleased to quote you the best possible prices and ensure you have the best promotional product for your business.

Can I use my own pictures or images in the calendars?

We are happy to produce calendars using your own good quality images, and we have produced many calendars in this way which work very effectively for the businesses, charities and organisations who have commissioned them. The question you must ask yourself is "will someone use this calendar on their wall/desk for a whole year?" because this is the purpose of a promotional calendar, in promoting your brand and company details to your customer or end user. To keep your details in front of them, requires an attractive and useful product for them, so let us advise you, through our years of experience in helping customers to produce their calendars.

Our range of over 150 different designs of calendar, has something to appeal to everyone, and are much more likely to be valued and used by your customers than 12 images of skips or diggers (although we are still happy to print these if you wish).

Bear in mind that if you are using your own images, the quality needs to be very high, in order to enlarge the pictures to the size required, and the format needs to be all the same for each of the 6 or 12 pictures you are using. (see our ‘How to Supply Digital Artwork’ page for more information)

Please contact our artwork department if you require any help with this. [email protected]

Can I use corporate colours?

It is possible to incorporate your corporate or company colours in your advertisement for an extra cost. Our standard pricing structure for all our pictorial wall and desk calendars, includes printing your advert in one of our 11 standard colours. Our range of standard colours is available here.

Can I order calendars of the same size and pay the same price?

We offer our ‘Mix and Match’ facility to enable you to order different calendars within the same size format. Please refer to the individual Mix and Match letter categories to see which calendars fall within the same format and price band. For example, you could order 25 of one design and 75 of another, as long as the 2 designs are in the same Mix and Match category. This works particularly well for customers who wish to segment their customer base and send out a variety of different designs to these segments. This way you also benefit from the bulk quantity price.

The minimum order quantity for any one type of calendar would be 25 units of one design.

Can I order calendars of different sizes and pay the same price?

It is possible to order different sized calendars. Because the advert area would be a different size on different sized calendars, a plate charge would apply, for us to prepare an additional advert and produce a second plate. The calendars would also need to be printed separately because of the different size. Please see above on how this could work for you if would like to order calendars of different types, but of the same size. This is referred to as our ‘Mix and Match’ offering.

Can I personalise my calendars with more than just a standard advert?

We are happy to discuss your requirements with you. It is possible to personalise date pads and add additional leaves or personalised covers at extra cost. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How will my calendars be packed?

Pictorial calendars are inserted into heavyweight, recycled card wallets, protecting them when in transit. All wallets have peel and stick closures making them easy to use and giving them a professional finish.

Our ranges of value and postage saver calendars are inserted into manila envelopes.

Your whole order will be packed into double wall boxes.

How can I order my calendars, who do I talk to?

Please give us a call on 01206 844500 or email us on [email protected] and we will be pleased to discuss the benefits promotional calendars can bring to your business. We have a national network of representatives who are based throughout the UK, as well as staff on the end of the phone who will be happy to help you.

I know I want calendars, but my details are changing later in the year, how do I ensure I can still get the calendars I want?

The sooner we know about which type of calendar you are interested in, the better. It is possible to hold the stock and then add your details when they become available. Please let us know if this is the case and we should be able to accommodate your request.

I have several trade logos, do I have to supply artwork or do you hold them?

We are often able to access recognised trade logos or source high resolution versions on your behalf. Please let us know which logos you require and we can advise you.
